I write about what happens when we stop abandoning ourselves.
My writing is a new kind of gospel, one that seeks to integrate all experiences into something sacred and beautiful and funny and whole, no matter how ugly or spoiled some of the ingredients are; every character in this true narrative, from the violent villain to the the pervy playmate, from the frowning mother to the curious adulterer, from toxic religion to drug dealing shamans, is ascendant, soaring with humor and lovability.

I can
only
tell
the
truth
Though I love fiction, I can only tell the truth. I’m drawn to the nuances of complex experiences — like violence, like love — and my words seek to find what glints beneath the surface of all that we judge or despise.
